Bartender

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Engage with customers, providing friendly and efficient service while taking drink orders and offering recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Manage time effectively to handle busy periods while maintaining high service standards.
- Assist in restocking supplies as needed to ensure the bar is well-equipped at all times.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain health standards.
- Basic maths skills are required for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine desire to help others and provide outstanding customer service is crucial for success in this role.

Pay: £11.44-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
