**Client Details**
Our Star Brands are a select group of Consumer Health care brands, which are perceived as offering significant scope for growth with international reach. The majority of these are consumer health care products, which offer us an opportunity to promote tohealth care providers, patients and carers alike. All have a clear USP and positioning in their target market.
**Description**
- Identification of qualifying R&D projects and expenditure through participation in technical and financial discussions with clients.
- Write detailed technical summary reports that describe research and development (R&D) activity undertaken by the client, which can be easily interpreted in case our back office of technical writers need to do the full report.
- Knowledge of UK R&D tax relief schemes and claim quantification.
- Ensuring R&D claims meet the requirements of relevant tax legislation and guidelines.
- Help the client to identify qualifying R&D through effective questioning to understand the technical uncertainties and the trial and error processes as well as the solutions considered outside of the box.
- Qualifications and Skills Background in technology and science.
**Profile**
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to translate complex ideas into non-technical concepts
- Experience in preparation of R&D claims and how to maximise the tax benefits
- Team player and ability to meet deadlines when clients need to be called for discovery calls
