**The role**:
As Regulatory Data & Reporting Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that ICAS acquires full and accurate data from its regulatory community and that this is processed in accordance with regulatory requirement, with a key focus on reporting to oversight regulators.
You will be the main point of contact for all teams in the Regulation Centre in respect of the regulatory data held in Microsoft Dynamics. This will involve a lot of collaboration with each of the three regulatory teams (Authorisations, Investigations, Monitoring), as well as other teams in ICAS, including Channels and Data & Insights. You will also work closely with the head of department.
**The role will have the following key dimensions**:
- How we acquire data from our regulatory community (e.g. FAR, AML Declaration etc).
- Ad hoc information requests as and when they arise (e.g. Russian Sanctions request).
- Understanding how data is stored in Dynamics and assisting with its extraction (e.g. dashboards etc).
- Monitoring the quality of data held in Dynamics, with an ability to identify gaps and inaccuracies and knowing how to fix these.
- Coordinating ICAS’ responses to annual data requests from oversight regulators (e.g. FRC, OPBAS etc).
**Principal accountabilities**:
- In addition to ensuring that we are asking for the right data, the role-holder will oversee the request process, working with the Channels Team to make sure that members and firms submit timely responses.
- Reviewing the regulatory data which is received, making sure that gaps and inaccuracies are appropriately remediated, and that unusual activity identifiers are actioned.
- Working with the relevant teams in ICAS to ensure that regulatory data is stored correctly, and in such a way as to allow its easy extraction, summary, reporting etc.
- Ensuring that the ICAS content in external regulatory registers is kept up to date - e.g. JAR, TCSP, DPB etc.
- Working with colleagues to ensure that regulatory fees are calculated at the correct level and appropriately ingathered.
- Assisting other members of the Regulatory Teams in the risk assessment processes across the various regulatory workstreams, making sure that these processes properly utilise the data processed by ICAS, and that unusual activity indicators are identified.
- Assisting the Directors and Executive Director with the reporting of regulatory data to governance bodies (e.g. statistics and KPIs reported to the Regulation Board).
- Coordinating responses to all information requests received from ICAS’ oversight regulators - whether on an annual basis or otherwise - ensuring that our responses are full, accurate, and timely.
- Responding to queries in relation to regulatory data - including queries from colleagues, as well as from members and firms.
**Who do we need?**
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a great understanding of data processing and management, ideally within regulatory data environment. Someone who can show their experience and how they can bring that to life at ICAS.
You will be able to get up to speed quickly with the different regulatory bodies and demands of the role and juggle multiple requests at one time.
