**Job Overview**

Managing a Pre Existing customer account, as well as one off sub contracting requirements

**Duties**
- Coordinate the movement of freight from origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery.
- Negotiate rates with carriers and suppliers to optimise costs and service levels.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, including documentation
- Utilise EDI systems for data entry and tracking of shipments.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline operations.
- Monitor supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in logistics management and supply chain principles.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favourable terms with carriers.
- Using our Haulage exchange portal training can be provided
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in sales management is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration.
