**Freight Administrator (Part Time)**

**Gateshead, Newcastle**

**£10 Per Hour**

**Weekdays - Two days per week**

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Freight Administrator to join a leading freight forwarding business who specialise in shipping to 100+ countries worldwide and are focused on 'going the extra mile’ for both customers and employees.

They are seeking a Freight Administrator to join there multi model operation part time. This expanding business presents opportunities to progress, develop and learn within their culture driven team.

- Experience within a similar Freight Administrator role is desirable
- Knowledge of Import & Export procedures / processes is desirable
- Experience in dealing with international paperwork and customs
- Proven experience of coordinating with both clients and third parties
- DG experience preferred but not essential
- Strong commercials skills and business acumen are necessary
- Results driven with a consistent approach with the ability to inspire and motivate
- Must have a 'can do’ attitude
- Presentable, polite and demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Competent decision making
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

**Duties and Responsibilities;**
- Book transport with hauliers and build relationships with customers and clients
- Assist with the coordination of freight (Road, Air or Ocean)
- Liaise with third party hauliers for planning any additional capacity
- Produce a range of freight documentation including T1’s and customs entries
- Build and maintain a good working relationship with internal and external clients
- Liaise with all relevant parties to ensure that expectations are met during the movement of cargo
