**THE COMPANY**

Based in the Northwest this well-known charity and not for profit organisation is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join the procurement team. This is a hybrid role with both office and home working, which is offering flexible working, anexcellent pension scheme, great holidays, as well as other additional benefits. With easy access to public transport links, this role can be accessible from Manchester & Greater Manchester, Liverpool, Warrington, Preston, and the East Lancashire areas.

**THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, the procurement team is responsible for the strategic development and management of the organisation’s procurement service, contributing towards the organisation’s ‘Value for Money.’

Your responsibilities will include:

- Provide a professional advisory service to ensure the integrity of procurement activities across all categories of third-party expenditure for all the company and its subsidiaries.
- Managing end-to-end procurement activities and competing project priorities
- Designing and implementing the procurement process, from preparing tender information to formalising contract documentation
- Reviewing performance of the company service providers
- Maintaining procurement information management systems
- Undertaking supplier and spend analysis
- Producing and managing the company procurement communication, supporting delivery of corporate training, and appraising existing systems and other continual improvement initiatives for people and process
- Ensure compliance to financial procedures, statutory reporting and 5 DCMS' Financial Regulations

**THE PERSON**
- The ideal applicant will be CIPS qualified or working towards the final stages.
- You must be able to provide aproven track record of demonstrating diverse and extensive procurement work experience within a multi-disciplinary organisation.
- Extensive practical experience of working within public procurement procedures (Public Contracts Regulations 2015) and accessing consortia frameworks is essential.
