You will be working within a modern and recently built manufacturing facility for a successful food manufacturer which produces an exceptional range of high quality, great-tasting food products.

**About the NPD Manager job**

Reporting to the Head of Innovation, you will use your creativity to develop products from concept to launch, improve existing products and explore new ingredients. You will be working closely with the NPD Chefs to interpret briefs and deliver incrediblytasty food.

You will manage the NPD process for NPD and EPD projects and liaise with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure critical paths are met, ensuring all relevant information required for the NPD handover, is collated and shared.

You will also have responsibility for the NPD Process Technologist and ensure factory trials are organised in an efficient manner with results reported to the wider team.

You will be aware of competitor brands and their activity plus be responsible for organising benchmarking taste panels, reporting results, and making recommendations to strengthen the brand and ensure customers are delighted

**Skills & experience required for the NPD Manager job**

You will be someone whose eyes light up talking about delicious recipes and oozes energy, creativity, and drive to make the company’s products the consumers’ food of choice
- Strong experience in a similar role and be confident in following the NPD process to develop products from concept to launch.
- A food degree with knowledge of food science and nutrition would be highly desirable.
- Experience working with chilled, prepared food products is a great advantage.
- Highly creative and extremely passionate about all things food

The NPD Manager job is based in Milton Keynes and is paying £45,000 to £55,000 according to your experience.

The package includes 25 days of holiday plus 8 days annual leave, up to 6% matched pension, Cash Health Plan and KPI bonus based on company/individual performance.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.
