**Job Title**: MI & Reporting Analyst

**Location**: Manchester

**Duration**: 6 months (Hybrid) 1 day in office 9 to 5

**Day Rate**: £325 - £400

**Job purpose**

My high profile banking client is looking for an MI & Reporting Analyst to join their Planning and Assurance Team. The purpose is to provide expertise in the maintenance, development and use of software tools and techniques that support the change environment.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Provide configuration management of the banks project management tools, using an appropriate and repeatable change approval process
- Support the development of new reporting formats and feeds
- Work directly with Portfolio analysts to identify needs and resolve software configuration problems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot common and daily tasks and events as well as changes.
- Reproduce, test, resolve and document software bugs, defects and problems.
- Liaise with third party supplier (if applicable) to prioritise and organise upgrades and enhancements
- Maintain reporting calendar and schedule of inputs and outputs, chasing inputs as required and challenging the quality of the component data
- Build and maintain an information base of trend data for the portfolio reporting

**Technical Capabilities**
- Good knowledge of project and portfolio management tools and associated development languages
- Good understanding of project and portfolio management techniques
- Exposure to portfolio, project or programme reporting
- Exposure to supplier management (if applicable)

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**
- Proven presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Experience of working in a programme or portfolio environment
- Be confident in the manipulation of data and systems
- Microsoft Excel advance knowledge
- Knowledge of Visio
