The hotel consists of 96 bedrooms across four room types, a relaxing spa with a range of professional treatments as well as a refreshing pool and hot tub, flexible function rooms and a stylish bar and restaurant to enjoy throughout the day. We are looking for a friendly, proactive, and customer-focused Leisure Club Assistant to support the smooth operation of our hotel's leisure and wellness facilities. As a Leisure Club Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the leisure club, ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and welcoming while providing outstanding customer service. **Responsibilities will include but are not limited to**: - Assisting guests and members with inquiries about the leisure club's services and facilities. - Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of all leisure areas, including the gym, pool, changing rooms, and relaxation spaces. - Monitoring the use of equipment and reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate teams. - Providing towels, robes, and amenities to guests and ensuring a well-stocked and presentable environment. - Supporting leisure club promotions by informing guests of membership options, fitness classes, and wellness services. - Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including pool safety and gym usage guidelines. - Supporting fitness instructors and spa staff in delivering a seamless leisure experience. - Assisting with membership sign-ups, renewals, and general administrative tasks related to the leisure club. - The ideal person for this role will be enthusiastic about change, focused on details, and trusting. **The core skills and experience required to succeed**: - Previous experience in a leisure, fitness, or customer service role is preferred but not essential. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering great service. - A proactive and professional approach to maintaining high facility standards. - A good understanding of health and safety regulations in a leisure or spa environment. - Ability to work well in a team and take initiative when required. - A flexible approach to work, with availability for shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
