About the Job:Let's Play are looking for an individual to lead a variety of fun-filled activities and supervise the children at our Fun Week programme in the school holidays at Winchester Leisure Centre, Winchester. This will include keeping the children safe, leading activities and generally ensuring the programme is being delivered to a high standard, catering for all children of mixed ability, aged between 5 and 12 years of age.The daily programme will include activities delivered from our schedule which aim to have a positive impact on young children. The sessions will range from: Multi-Sports, Performing Arts/Dance, Swimming, Bouncy Castle, Team Games, Esports, Lego Building and Arts n Crafts.About Us:Let's Play are a childcare provider based in the South East of England and The Midlands, with a clear philosophy of ensuring everything we deliver to children is Fun, Inclusive & Educational. We have an outstanding reputation of delivering fun holiday camps suitable for all children in our care. Essential Requirements: Has a keen interest and passion in working with and facilitating fun games for primary-aged childrenHas experience working at children’s holiday camps and/or a childcare settingDemonstrates willingness to develop their skills and general practicePunctual, Reliable & CommittedHas experience in delivering activities to primary-aged childrenStrong communication & organisational skillsAble to interact well with staff, parents/carers and children Preferred Requirements: Clean UK driver’s licenseExperience and/or willingness to deliver other activities during our Fun Week provision, such as: Arts n Crafts, Multi-SportsCompleted appropriate courses at Sixth Form, College or University Duties & Responsibilities for this role: Manage and motivate your team, to ensure they are delivering the programme to a high standardLiaise with parents/carers, staffing team and the Directors on a regular basisEnsure sessions delivered are challenging, realistic & fun for primary-aged childrenCreate a positive learning environment for the children in our careDeliver the coaching programme to a high standard consistently. Follow our coaching philosophy, ensuring everything we deliver is: Fun, Inclusive & EducationalTo understand the individual needs of the staff and children in our care and challenge/engage them appropriately Deal with any first aid/emergency situationApproachable in liaising with parents/carersTo be committed to ensuring every session is delivered to the best of your abilityBe creative and passionate in your deliveryYou will be provided with:Professional sports kitOpportunities for progression and additional work opportunities.Further qualifications.
