Warehouse Administrator

**About Korea Foods Company**:
Korea Foods Company is a family-owned importer, distributor, and retailer of Korean and other Asian food. We are the largest importer of Korean food in Europe, distribute to 1200 wholesale customers, including the major multiples, and operate 17 retail shops in the UK.

We pride ourselves on working hard, quickly, and we are currently undertaking new expansion plans that will drive the company’s capabilities further.

**Working Hours**: 45 hours per week, Monday - Friday 0600 - 1600

**Main responsibilities**:

- Ensure goods received are checked against the delivery after unloading and checking all discrepancies /damages being noted and investigated for further action
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor to arrange weekly agency staff for unloading containers, record and file the timesheets then approve the monthly payments to agencies with required hardcopy of paperwork for the Accounts Team's attention
- Book all domestic deliveries liaising with supplier and 3rd party transport providers for the attention of Warehouse and Purchasing Team
- Communicate incoming goods with Inventory Team for maintenance for accurate reports
- Ensure that all warehouse equipment including forklifts, fridge -freezers and all operational machinery is working with H&S compliances. For any broke downs call outs for engineers, arrange a repair process then raise related PO to finalise the payment alongside the Accounts team
- Cover all management roles within the Warehouse, where the management is not available
- Resolve H&S, legal and security issues. File all related digital copy of the reports in company mutual drive in a historical order.
- Report any damage of the company property, facilities to the related management
- Undertake additional task and responsibilities as may be reasonably expected of the role and as necessary in order to achieve the objectives of the department

**Person Specification**:

- A minimum 1 year experience in the FMCG business, especially in a warehouse environment but not necessary
- Good computer literacy skills (MS office, Intermediate Excel and any sort of ERP )
- Actively listen to others to understand their perspectives and ensure continuous understanding regardless of communication channel or audience
- Ability to query and analyze the data

Pay: £27,600.00-£29,500.00 per year
