The University is investing in an ambitious multi-year Human Resources and Organisational Development enhancement project in support of our University Strategy and enabling People Strategy. The project will invest in our people by developing existing HR and OD services through recruitment of new expertise, policy and process redesign and the procurement of new enabling technologies. The quality, currency and efficiency of staff data is a key institutional priority for the University. Human Resources manage, maintain and report on staff related data both internally and externally, and are continually seeking to improve the quality, reporting and accessibility of HR data across the University. Key to this, is themaintenance and development of the central HR and Payroll system, which as well as delivering day-to-day functionality, will deliver future enhancements, both in terms of the data that it captures and the functionality it offers.

In addition to providing day-to-day administration and user support for HR data processes and systems, this role will work closely with HR and other key stakeholders across the University, to deliver the continued expansion of self service and develop online processes in support of the project. This role will also be involved in user testing as part of the system upgrade process as well as the development and delivery of accurate and up to date reporting to support key University activities.

We are therefore seeking the following skills, knowledge and expertise to support the project work:

- Understanding of HR data processes and data structures.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a methodical and organized approach to workload and projects.
- Experience of a central HR systems, across a range of modules as well as general systems administration skills including user security and user acceptance testing.
- Experience of hands on HR data processing, with some experience of defining and developing system functionality to enhance existing ways of working.
- Creation and maintenance of user guidance on HR data/systems and delivery of associated user training.
