We are currently recruiting for a **Teaching Assistant** for a wonderful, local **Primary School** in the **Rustington **area. They provide a happy and safe environment where the children can thrive in their education. They offer a bright and colourful outdoor area which allows the children to interact with their peers and build everlasting bonds.

As a teaching support assistant, you will need to be able to fully immerse yourself in any classroom. You will be working with small groups of students in and out of formal lessons, with support from Teachers and other staff but also may be required to work with a child one to one who may require additional support. You will be fully immersed into the life of the school and encouraged to be proactive in your role alongside your colleagues.

**Job role**:

- **To support the children’s development across all areas of their development**:

- **Support and encourage positive behaviour management**:

- **Work with groups of children or individuals (1-1) to support the class teacher in specific lessons.**:

- **Ensure a safe and secure environment enabling children to feel relaxed and happy**:

- **To establish positive relationships with the children and staff within the school**:

- **To be committed to inclusive practice and making sure every child has the chance to be the best they can be**:

- **To be able to provide personal care if needed**
