Senior Electrical Estimator

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Analyse drawings, specifications, BOQ’s
- Understand different types of contract and the tendering methods for each
- Attend site surveys to review existing installations where required
- Assemble accurate well organised estimates in a timely manner
- Undertake and record clear detailed take offs / measures
- Issue enquiries to suppliers and sub-contractors and review the received quotations
- Engage with supply chain
- Raise tender TQ’s where required
- Work as part of a team in a fast-paced open office environment
- Multitask and work on numerous bids at the one time and to deadlines
- Attend post tender meetings and interviews
- Produce value engineering solutions and methods where required
- Ensure compliance with company policies, protocol and processes.
- You are required to ensure avoidance of injury to yourself and colleagues and to minimize risk to the environment

**Experience**:

- Graduate from a mechanical or electrical apprenticeship is preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the construction industry
- Previous experience estimating projects up to 1million.
- Computer literate with experience of ‘Estimation’ software
- Must have a high level of attention to detail

**Qualifications**:

- NC/HNC/HND or similar in a building services related qualification would be considered an advantage
- Time served apprenticeship
- Full driving license

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
