Quality Improvement and Innovation Fellow

An opportunity exists for a Clinical Fellow to work within NHS England’s Enhancing Junior Doctors’ Working Lives programme focusing on quality improvement and innovation within Supported Return to Training (SuppoRTT). The post holder will be supported by the Associate Dean for SuppoRTT and Local Office lead, and work closely with SuppoRTT fellows and programmes in other NHS England regions and a variety of stakeholders as part of the SuppoRTT programme.
Interviews are likely to be held mid August.
Salary based on current, ST3-ST6 in line with NHS Pay Scales
You will develop skills required to investigate, design and recommend innovation and improvement within the SuppoRTT programme. This will include exploring, testing and proposing a range of activities and interventions that would improve uptake and engagement, and support doctors returning to training following time out of programme.
You will learn research and policy development skills, how to measure performance objectively and how to inspire shared purpose among our stakeholders and patients when proposing and implementing changes. The post will also provide you with the opportunity to understand and develop their leadership potential and skills.
