Here at Starlight House, we are looking for motivated individuals to support up to three children in care (aged 8-17). You will be based within our home in Newton Le Willows.

**What will the job be like?**

Truly Timeless Care is a specialist company supporting young people who cannot be cared for, by their parents. As a Waking Nights Support Worker, you will provide the highest standards of care for our young people throughout the night, understand their care needs, and support and engage with them. You will ensure their safety throughout the evening. Your role will include completing audits within the home and general domestic tasks.

You will join a small but strong team, who prides itself on delivering a personal and bespoke service to each of our young people. you will be supported by two other staff members, who will sleep-in during the shift, but available for support should this be required. Our staff within the home are dedicated, helpful, and focused on providing high-quality provision.

You will spend a short time during your induction getting to know the team and people we support.

You will support our young people during the night should they wake and need support in line with care and support plans and the responsibility of maintaining the home.

**What we can offer you**

Hourly rate £10.50 - £11.45 based on experience. 36 hour contracts.

Full-time hours are worked over 3 shifts per week, between the hours of 10 pm & 10am. There are overtime opportunities if required

Part-time hours over 2 shifts per week are also available

All meals/refreshments provided

Excellent induction and training, including a fully funded Level 4 children’s residential care qualification.

Requirement

Truly Timeless Care commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and our requirement for the successful applicant would be to undertake enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check where appropriate
