Retail Sales Adviser - Stockton

**Job Title**: Retail Sales Advisor
**Type**:Permanent, Full-Time
**Hours**:9am to 5.30pm, 5 days over 7 on a rota basis
**Salary**: £20,000 according to experience pa (circa £24k after bonuses)
**Area**:Stockton, TS18 2LX

In our ongoing investment in our people, we are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-orientated Retail Sales Adviser with a background ideally in either the healthcare or retail sector to join our expert team of passionate and dedicated colleagues. **Key Responsibilities, but not be limited to**:
Working within a team in a very rewarding environment supporting the elderly and disabled
Be dedicated in providing all our customers with quality products and an excellent customer experience
Be an exceptional individual who provides advice and assistance to our customers
Be processing stock/deliveries received into the store, therefore, this is a hands on role and the ability to lift and handle stock/store fixtures is essential
Play an important role on the sales floor supporting your team and Store Manager in helping and advising our customers

**Essential Skills**:

- Confidence to discuss products with customers over the phone and in person (after training)
- A good understanding of IT to process transactions and respond to customer enquiries on our bespoke system (full training given)
- Flexibility to support the team and your store in peak trade periods
- Pride in store standards to maintain the retail shop floor and stockrooms to a high standard
- Ability to build rapport with our regular in store customers and local business customers
- Good organisational skills
- Patient and caring nature
- Professionalism and outgoing personality
A full driving licence is essential for this role to cover for holidays and sickness.
A Disclosure & Barring Service check will be required for this position, which Ableworld will meet the cost.

A responsibility of this role includes delivering and entering Care Homes.
