**Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Wednesbury,
**AM / PM to £18.00 per hour
Nights to £21.50 per hour
(rotating between the three)
My client is a leading manufacturing company, they are now actively looking to recruit a proven Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
Your duty will be to assist in and resolve the day-to-day electrical maintenance of manufacturing machinery and equipment, attend breakdowns, log all work completed on the maintenance system. Your role will also include supporting mechanical engineers to reducemachine downtime and keep key plant running.
You will be required to carry out planned and preventative maintenance task in accordance with the maintenance plan and build key relationships with Department managers and Shop floor operatives through clear concise communication. You will be proactive inyour approach to problems and subsequent counter measures.
**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
**Carry out all duties within the scope of the Company mission and values and to support and encourage practices to meet this end.
*Carry out work in a safe manner, following correct procedure.
*Ensure all breakdowns are kept to a minimum.
- Ensure all planned work is completed with mínimal disruption to production.
*Ensure that all work is undertaken to the highest standards both from yourself and others within the team.
*To log all work carried out on maintenance system.
*All parts used or replaced are to be logged.
*Hand over to next shift must be clear concise and accurate.
*Overtime both planned and reactive will be expected to support the business.
*To report any potential problems Shift Manager or Plant Manager
*Follow all health and safety legislation and company rules when undertaking the role.
*Any other tasks your line manager deems suitable.
**Qualifications and Experience:
**City and Guilds or equivalent trained & electrical qualifications up to 18th edition.
*Sound PC skills for maintenance system.
*Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment with heavy machinery.
*Understanding of machinery electrical and electronic circuits and systems.
*Basic mechanical engineering knowledge.
