OverviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to work a days-based shift pattern (7am – 3:30pm) for a growing manufacturer located in the West Bromwich Area.The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for efficiently resolving the day-to-day mechanical and electrical maintenance issues in the plant, including reacting to breakdowns and carrying out planned preventative maintenance tasks and fault finding within a mechanical and electrical environment.ResponsibilitiesEnsure all breakdowns are kept to a minimum.Follow best mechanical and electrical engineering practices.Ensure all planned work is completed with minimal disruption to production.Log all work carried out on the maintenance system.QualificationsCandidates will ideally be City and Guilds/BTEC trained in an engineering discipline (electrical or mechanical) or be a time-served apprentice.Electrical knowledge for circuitry and fault finding is essential, but applications are welcome from engineers who are biased mechanically or electrically as a robust training plan will be initiated on joining the business. #J-18808-Ljbffr
