Do you want to play a key role in the development and implementation of the Faculty’s estates strategy and associated infrastructure projects?

We are seeking a Faculty Estates Coordinator to coordinate activity and support reporting and communications for programmes of work designed to maintain and upgrade existing facilities including office space, laboratories, research facilities, teaching space, workshops and equipment.

You will seek out opportunities to improve the availability and condition of the Faculty’s estate in order to meet the space needs associated with the strategic ambitions and operational needs of each department/school within the Faculty of Science.

You will be the main point of contact for feedback and resolving problems regarding operational information and day-to-day issues relating to the building work. You will also lead the local communication of project plans, timescales, work schedules, potential disruption alerts and building work to allow for forward planning for business continuity.

To be successful in the role, you will demonstrate a genuine dedication to providing a high standard of customer care, have good communication, team working and analytical skills and have a positive approach to the role. You will also be committed to personal development and willing to attend training as required.
