A Fender is more than an instrument, it's a cultural symbol that resonates globally. **About the role** The Fender EMEA Planning team is a small but dynamic department who works on ensuring the balance of demand and supply is met in the region. This department works collaboratively across the business. Our **Planning team** is seeking a **Senior Planner **to join their team**. **In this role you will primarily be responsible for developing and maintain a high quality, collaborative short, mid, and long-term forecast, ensuring supply is maintained in line with customer demand in accordance with budgeted inventory policies while building and maintaining service levels within Supply Chain through relationships with our partners, customers and 3rd party warehouses. We encourage leaders to both manage business requirements and offer flexibility where possible. **Main responsibilities** - Balancing demand with supply while keeping within inventory targets, using relevant demand planning tools. - Working with Sales, Product Managers and Marketing to review and agree demand forecasts, complementing system generated forecasts - Generate and submit planned purchase requirements where appropriate, in line with agreed schedules. - Work closely with Fender Global Demand and Supply Planning teams to improve lead times, inventory holding and customer serviceability. - Manage supply issues and develop alternative plans where delivery schedules cannot be improved. - Manage end of life processes in conjunction with Sales, Product Managers and Marketing to ensure that slow moving and excess inventory is minimised. - Manage New Product Introduction processes in conjunction with Sales, Product Managers and Marketing to ensure a successful launch of new products while ensuring inventory risk is minimised. - Work closely with Sales & Product Managers to reduce Excess and Obsolete Inventory. - Play an active role in supporting the monthly SIOP process. - KPI reporting and control analysis on measures such as (but not limited to) Inventory, Forecast Accuracy, Fill Rate, Slow Moving, New Product Introduction and Excess Inventory - Provide support to the Director of Planning as appropriate - Needs little guidance as to what/how to analyse data, self-starter, curious and desire to get to the root cause - Develop tools/spreadsheets/processes to aid in data analysis and to understand and optimise/improve processes; make recommendations for changes - Comfortable communicating across multiple layers in the organisation; can deliver "bad news" and manage conflict - Ability to document processes, write training material for any reporting/tools created - Develop relationships with various functions to obtain data, learn business processes; be the advocate for supply chain in any additional reporting/tools needed - Seen as a "go-to" person in the business **What you need**: - 5 years of Demand Planning experience - IT systems - experienced in use of SAP or other ERP system - Working knowledge of Logility (or similar) Demand Planning/Supply Planning/Inventory Planning - Strong PC skills with experience of Microsoft packages - Excellent communicator - Commercially aware **Why Work for Fender?** We offer a range of Company benefits to our employees, and we would love you to join the team - **Private Medical Cover** All employees are eligible to join our private health care scheme through salary sacrifice.
