As a Level 2 Supervisor, you are the driving force behind constant business growth and improvement. You will be responsible for supporting the Senior Supervisor and delivering the required outputs for individual schemes allocated. The Supervisor will provide leadership throughout the planning, as well as mobilising projects to a high quality. You will also contribute to achieving a budget and forecast.

**Key responsibilities**
- Ensure all allocated work complies with relevant Health & Safety regulations as well as Network Rail Standards.
- Work collaboratively with the Project team and Senior Supervisor with the detailed planning and execution of allocated work.
- Manage a team of workers onsite, to ensure the work is carried out safely, to a high standard and on time.
- Provide progress reports on site works, including diary sheets and measurement records are maintained and stored for potential future use
- Support the Senior Supervisor in ensuring tools and plant are properly maintained and stored.
- Support the procurement processes, to ensure goods and services are requested in a timely manner and onboarding and offboarding of plant & equipment is carried out to avoid, and / or minimise losses and damages.
- Review / Record any near misses, with subsequent investigations
- Carry out task briefs as required
- Undertake safety inspection as stipulated by the Senior Supervisor
- Assist the Senior Supervisor with tendering new work
- Collaborate with the maintenance to insure all OTM and RSRG owned plant is (compliant) before the star of any deployment
- Input and create (where appropriate) CDM and safety critical documentation (such as work package plans task briefing sheets) and ensure implementation to deliver works safely and affectively
- Management of project specific labour, tools, and plant in accordance with budgetary requirements
- Any other work that is assigned that you within your skill set.

**Key competencies, skills, and attributes**
- Ability to lead and work as part of a team; able to delegate appropriately and effectively
- Clear thinker with attention to detail
- Excellent understanding of current legislation, CDM 2015 and Network Rail standards.
- Be able to read and follow detailed plans, ensuring compliance in relation to the rules and regulations of RSUK, our clients and legislation
- Must have good commercial awareness and an aptitude for figures
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Have a good range of problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate the ability to take accountability and deliver objectives professionally and diplomatically
- Must have good Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work
- Continuously develop skills to enable the job holder to work across or disciplines of the Delivery Division.

**Key qualifications / experience**
- Must have experience 4 years’ experience working on track
- Professional qualification in PWI or ICE (Engineering Technician) or equivalent experience
- Personal Track Safety qualification
- CSCS card desirable
- COSS certified
- SWL1 Certificate
- TR12 (Track Handback Engineer)
- Full Driving Licence
- SSSTS/SMSTS Qualified

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
