Housekeeping Supervisor – Richmond Villages Location: Sutton-at-Hone, Dartford, DA4 9HF Company: Richmond Villages (care home) Contract Type: Permanent term contract Shifts: 28 hours on days, 7:30am – 3:30pm, with alternative weekend days. Pay: £12.70 – £13.70 per hour (depending on experience) CQC Rating: Good Carehome.co.uk rating: 9.8 / 10 Job Description As a Housekeeping Supervisor at Broad Oak Manor Care Home, you will lead a team of housekeepers, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. You will manage schedules, training, supplies, and quality standards across the home. Key responsibilities Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the care home. Lead by example performing vacuuming, mopping, polishing, and upkeep of communal areas and residents’ rooms. Supervise housekeeping and laundry assistants, manage staff rotation schedules, provide training, and ensure all supplies are stocked and replenished. Key skills & qualifications • Experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role with a focus on quality and organisation. • Strong communication and leadership skills to motivate and manage a team. • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and delegate appropriately. • Approachable and caring nature with desire to engage with residents and cross‑team collaboration.
