Resourcing Administrator

On behalf of GDS, we are looking for a Resourcing Administrator Inside IR35 for a 6 month contract based Hybrid working (2/3 days per week in London or Bristol office and remaining WFH)
The Central Digital and Data Office leads the Government digital and data function for the government. We put the right conditions in place to achieve digital, data and technology transformation at scale by working with departments, and other government functions like commercial, project delivery and security professionals.
**We are responsible for**:
- Digital, Data and Technology Strategy and Standards, like the Technology Code of Practice, the Service Standard and Open Standards
- Cross-government Government Digital and Data performance and assurance, including Spend Controls
- Government Digital and Data Capability Development, including the Government Digital and Data pay framework
The main duties and responsibilities of the Resourcing Administrator would be to:
- Provide administrative support and process resourcing related forms
- Signpost managers on where to get expert advice from HR professionals/Shared Services where appropriate
- Provide support for line managers, to avoid duplication
- Maintain accurate people and resource data
- Take initiative to suggest ideas for improvements, sharing this feedback with others in a constructive manner
- Help colleagues, customers and corporate partners to understand changes and why they have been introduced
- Monitor the storage of critical data and customer information to support decision making and conduct regular reviews to ensure it is stored accurately, confidentially and responsibly
- Readily identify opportunities to share knowledge, information and learning and make progress by working with colleagues
- Speak with the relevant people in order to obtain the most accurate information and get advice when unsure of how to proceed
- As a member of the People Operations team you will be involved in an array of people related activities to support Business Operations.
**Essential**:
- Experience in administration and support, with good attention to detail, and a desire to use new tools and processes to support delivery
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a busy working environment
- An ability to handle sensitive information, displaying tact and diplomacy and maintaining confidentiality
- Experience of working with stakeholders at all levels
- Awareness of business change and its impact
- Proven track record of digital, data and technical contingent workforce management
- Demonstrable experience of delivering a recruitment service within a fast paced, matrix management organisation
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to maintain remote relationships
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to push back and challenge when necessary
- Ability to prioritise workload and work at pace with a high attention to detail
- Creating, managing and reporting data to identify trends and blockers and resolve them
- Are experienced in using Microsoft Office and Google Sheets
