Learningskills Adviser/receptionist

We are looking to appoint a full time Learning and Skills Advisor/receptionist based at the Gateshead Interchange.
You will provide effective support for the running of a busy learning centre, ensuring high levels of building occupancy, maintenance and cleaning.
The role will include some late evenings in order to meet the needs of the business.
You will manage room bookings, diary appointments, take payments, monitor CCTV and assist with emergency response and evacuations.
You will have knowledge of business and educational procedures, Microsoft Office suite, Management Information Systems and have knowledge of administrative procedures
You must be qualified with 5 GCSE’s grade A-C in Math and English or equivalent or level 3 Business admin/customer service/lCT and Microsoft Office including word and excel.
You will need to have experience of, following administrative procedures; using effective written and oral communication skills, customer care, reception duties, and the ability to work flexibly as part of a team.
You will have the ability to communicate with a wide range of people and be able to make decisions using your own initiative. You must be able to prioritise and organise your workload and manage deadlines.
