**Inside IR35 - £244 per day**
**Hybrid - Birmingham
JOB PURPOSE:
**By supporting the Information Asset Management Lead, the post-holder will ensure the Trust holds reliable and up-to-date data covering all information assets held by the organisation. This role is vital in ensuring that the Trust is compliant withLocal/National policy and elements of the Data Security & Protection Toolkit that Information Governance manages.
A robust, and complete, IAR will assist in resolving issues identified from internal and external compliance exercises, making sure that the Trust's information assets comply with best practice for the management of data protection, health records, cyber risks,and information security standards.**
The responsibilities will include the following**:

- Supporting the creation of an action plan for the identification of all information assets held by the organisation, and assisting with the monitoring and reporting of compliance with the plan.
- Supporting the Information Asset Management Lead to create a record of all information assets which meets national standards, including those stipulated by the Data Security and Protection Toolkit.
- Delivering training and guidance for Information Asset Owners and Administrators, and assisting with the monitoring of compliance with training.
- Supporting the production of an Information Asset policy and procedure for the organisation.
- Supporting IT Services with the Configuration Management Database to ensure the priorities of both databases are consistent.

- Previous experience of creating and managing Information Asset Registers in a large organisation (E)

- Experience of working with and manipulating large amounts of data (E)
- Experience of information risk management techniques (E)
