Oxford Nanopore Technologies is headquartered at the Oxford Science Park outside Oxford, UK, with satellite offices and commercial presence in many global locations across the US, APAC and Europe.
Oxford Nanopore's sequencing platform is the only technology that offers real-time analysis (for rapid insights), in fully scalable formats from pocket to population scale, that can analyse native DNA or RNA and sequence any length of fragment to achieve shortto ultra-long read lengths.
Our goal is to enable the analysis of any living thing, by anyone, anywhere. We offer real-time nanopore-based DNA/RNA sequencing technology: accessible, easy to use and fully scalable for any requirement.
**Summary**
To lead and handle projects and programmes within the Global IT delivery portfolio, both within Global IT and to business partners. You will assist the Programme Management Director with reporting and maturing the delivery mechanisms.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Lead selected Global IT Project and Programme delivery and report to the Programme Director and IT VP on progress.
- Assist with consolidated reporting of projects and programs.
- Work with the business to define business benefits of projects and programmes.
- Define and assess project success through return on investment.
- Support/advise the whole of Global IT.
**Additional Responsibilities**:
- Monitoring and reporting against the IT Project and Programmes spend vs budget.
- Assisting with supplier sourcing activities ensuring alignment with budget and capability.
- Provide governance and controls of the Global IT Project and Programme portfolio, ensuring delivery aligned to the goals of the business.
- Accountable for delivery of key projects.
- Establish close relationships with 3rd party contractor, suppliers and business partners.
**Skills / Experience**:
Bachelor's degree (2:1 or above) or equivalent years' experience managing projects with experience at a senior level in the successful delivery and assurance of sophisticated projects.
