Recruitment Manager, Postgraduate Programmes

Applications are invited for a Recruitment Manager (Postgraduate Programmes) to join the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, reporting to the Head of Programmes.
This is an exciting opportunity to take a lead role in directing postgraduate student recruitment activity across the department. You will provide strategic guidance to programme teams, shape recruitment strategies for new programmes, and, where appropriate, take an active role in bespoke recruitment activity. The Recruitment Manager will help shape overall recruitment guidelines for the department, ensuring all programmes meet their recruitment targets. The role includes line management of a Data Officer managing student data in the department. Over time, the role may include further development of the recruitment team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Consulting with programme teams to develop tailored recruitment plans.
- Monitoring competitor activity and market trends to inform strategy.
- Collaborating with marketing, admissions, and alumni colleagues.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You will have a proven track record of success in a customer-facing role, excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, and experience contributing to recruitment strategy and managing budgets. A degree (or equivalent experience) in healthcare or business/marketing is essential, along with knowledge of the healthcare landscape. Experience of business development, higher education recruitment, or CRM systems would be desirable.
You will be based in the Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG as your normal place of work, though some remote working may be possible.
