**THE ROLE**
We are currently recruiting for 3 Managers to work in our UK & Regional Funds Team.
The UK & Regional (UK&R) Funding Team sitting within Venture Solutions is responsible for establishing new Funds across the UK including the Northern Powerhouse, Midlands Engine, the Southwest of England as well as in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.The Team is contributing directly to the UK Government’s 'levelling up’ agenda and the Bank’s key objective of addressing regional disparities in accessing finance and will contribute to the Government’s agenda of building back the economy as we come out ofthe COVID crisis.
The Manager is responsible for supporting the Senior Investment Managers and overall team to develop, launch and thereafter manage several debt and equity funds across the UK.
You will be responsible for supporting the team during the current project phase to set up systems and processes, design the fund structures and engage with external stakeholders to successfully deliver £1.6bn of funding across the UK.
You will also have demonstrable ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing and an understanding of debt and/or equity funds.
Strong numeracy skill and operational knowledge of Microsoft office software are essential.
Experience of working in a financial environment along with working across regional networks and delivering projects would be highly desirable.
