**Equestrian Social Media Executive**

**Location**:This is an in house role inBarnstaple, Devon.

**About us**: We are seeking an outgoing, charismatic equestrian enthusiast to join our social media and marketing team.

You must be a confident, knowledgable equestrian as you will spend most of your time around horses creating and featuring in social media content. There will never be a dull moment

You will be predominantly based at our brand-new purpose built office in North Devon where you will work closely with the team to help formulate and communicate both who we are and what we do to the outside world.

When not in the office you will be on the yard, at equestrian venues creating content or attending events.

You will be joining a small, dynamic and supportive family-run company that will provide you with the freedom to learn, grow and test new ideas. You will have the opportunity to develop your skillset and explore new methods of marketing. You will work closely and collaboratively with 3 other team members and report to the head of marketing.

You will be working across both of our brands, EQUIDRY & Drywalks so you’ll need to take initiative, be organised and have excellent communication skills.

**What you'll do**:

- **Be the Star of the Show - **Work with the team creating and appearing in social media content. You must be confident both in front of and behind the camera.
- **Oversee Social Media Accounts** - Help to manage all social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and publishing.
- **Get to Know Our Customers**:

- Engage with the community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries.
- **Develop Engaging Content** - Create and manage unique, fun, engaging content across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
- **Photography & Videography**:

- Help to plan, script, and produce regular high-quality photo & video content. Work with the team to ensure photos & videos are well-shot, edited, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- **Influencer & Ambassador Management** - Collaborate with product experts, our ambassadors and influencers to create joint content and expand reach. Develop and nurture relationships with our influencers and ambassadors.
- **Coordinate with Designers** - Work with the team to design social media assets to ensure effective brand promotion.
- **Maintain Content Calendar** - Develop a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely delivery of high quality content, videos, tutorials, and social media posts.
- **Formulate Social Media Strategy** - Develop a comprehensive social media strategy that supports overall business objectives.
- **Collaborate on Growth Strategies** - Work with the team to devise strategies for channel growth, traffic increase, and commercial success.
- **Analyse Performance Metrics** - Monitor and analyse social media metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and provide data-driven recommendations.

**Essential Skills for the job**:

- A passion for horses and all things equestrian. You must be a confident, knowledgable equestrian as you will spend most of your time around horses
- Comfortable and charismatic on camera, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and engagingly.
- Strong storytelling skills to make technical content relatable and interesting.
- Experience managing social media accounts, with a good understanding of how to grow and engage an audience on Facebook, Instagram & Tiktok.
- Experience in video production, including scripting, shooting, and editing content for each specific platform.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- An eye for detail and the ability to create accurate content.
- Experience using Adobe or Canva.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and tools to track performance and optimise content.
