**Platform Engineer**
**Farnborough, Hampshire / Hybrid / Remote**

Platform Engineer (DevSecOps) required by a thriving cutting-edge technology within the Defence and Security Sector. The Platform Engineer will have strong experience within Infrastructure Automation and Orchestration technologies (e.g. Terraform), CI/CDtechnologies, PaaS and Hyperscale Cloud provider Infrastructure (Azure, AWS or GCP)

**A few details about the role**
As a Platform Engineer you will be project driven and work on a diverse range of projects giving you exposure to lots of different cutting-edge technologies. You will be the glue that brings tools together and ensures a smooth development experience for developersand engineers. You will be an evangelist for Platform Engineering and DevOps principles. You will be a tinkerer who is able to lab and POC new tech while also being able to draw beautiful diagrams. You will have a passion and a desire to work with the latesttech.

**What you will need**
We are looking for a Platform Engineer with the following:

- Infrastructure Automation and Orchestration technologies (e.g. Terraform)
- CI/CD technologies (e.g. Gitlab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings e.g. managed Kubernetes (e.g. VMware Tanzu, AKS, EKS)
- Hyperscale Cloud provider Infrastructure (e.g. either Azure, AWS or GCP)

**Desirable Skills**:

- On-Premise Cloud provider Infrastructure (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V)
- GitOps Deployment technology (e.g. FluxCD, ArgoCD)
- Security tooling - IAST, SAST, SCA (e.g. Jfrog, Sonarqube, Snyk)
