**Unqualified KS3 Teaching Assistant**

If so, this is the perfect opportunity for you as a Unqualified KS3 Teaching Assistant in an outstanding Secondary School in Hackney Within this position, you will be working alongside experienced Teachers and SLTs to effectively promote academic confidence and growth to the students.
As a Unqualified KS3 Teaching Assistant, you will be undertaking structured learning sessions with students who are struggling academically. While also reviewing and adjusting the tasks and structure to suit the needs of each student to ensure the best progress is made. This role can also involve working alongside students with challenging behavioural and learning needs (**ASD, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression etc.**), so you will need to be adaptable, adopting a different approach to each interaction you have to the most beneficial output.

**Unqualified KS3 Teaching Assistant: JOB SPEC**
- Unqualified KS3 Teaching Assistant
- Working alongside the teacher to effectively deliver the lesson
- Supporting pupils in 1:1 and small group intervention sessions
- Reviewing pupil performance and working with teachers to create action plans to improve learning
- May involve supporting SEN and SEMH pupils (ASD, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression etc)

- Be confident and have experience working with those with challenging behaviour (SEN or SEMH needs)
