Fitness Instructor for Care Homes

We are looking to recruit a fitness professional to deliver fun, exercise therapy sessions, which could include chair based exercises, to care homes and supported living venues, in and around Newcastle. The job has flexible hours to suit the applicant with typical hours being between 10am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
G-Fitness is the UK's largest provider of exercise professionals who deliver health and exercise content to the care sector. We have a substantial team and are looking for applicants with the following:
- Reliability - a team member who our client care homes can trust and build a good working relationship with.
- Motivation - keen to help others and promote health and well-being, enthusiasm is essential.
- Confidence - able to lead group sessions for vulnerable people and manage potentially challenging behaviours.
- Empathy - an understanding and compassion for those living in care.
Applicants will need:
- A suitable DBS/PVG record.
- Full Driving License and vehicle.
- A minimum level 2 or equivalent in fitness instruction.
- Relevant qualifications in delivering exercise for vulnerable adults in care such as 'Chair Based Exercise for Adult Social Care'.
- An in-date and appropriate insurance policy.

Pay: £36.90 per hour
