**Actual salary £12,412 to £12,841 - OGAT Grade 6 (SCP 12 to 14)**
**Monday to Friday, afternoons, 19.5 hours per week. Term time + 10 days (40 weeks)**
Outwood Academy Valley seeks to appoint a colleague to coordinate our bespoke provisions to our wonderful student community. The Bridge is our Social and Pastoral Inclusion Centre within the Academy and the Bridge Coordinator supports and promotes the learning and welfare of vulnerable students and those who experience barriers to learning and we are delighted to be advertising for the position of Bridge Coordinator.
- Take responsibility for a caseload of students inside and outside of the Bridge during structured or unstructured time.
- Assess the needs of students and use detailed knowledge and specialist skills to support students’ pastoral and educational progress and attainment.
- Deliver intervention programs to individuals and small groups, preparing relevant and appropriate learning experiences in conjunction with the Inclusion lead and department staff.
- Track and monitor student life skill targets and/or EHCP outcomes, discussing progress with parents and agreeing new targets/EHCP outcomes at Interim Reviews.
