**SEND Teaching Assistant TA**

Are you passionate about supporting young learners in a positive and engaging way? We are currently seeking an energetic and caring **Teaching Assistant** to join our. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to make a difference in the lives of students, providing them with the support they need to thrive academically and socially.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work alongside teachers to support the learning and development of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring that each student’s unique needs are met.
- Help create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment where every student feels valued and empowered.
- Assist in developing and delivering tailored learning activities that promote students' growth and progress.
- Support students with personal care tasks, including assisting with mobility, feeding, and toileting when required.
- Foster positive relationships with students, helping them to build confidence, self-esteem, and independence.
- Manage classroom behaviour using positive strategies and assist with maintaining a calm, focused, and productive learning environment.

**What You Bring to the Role**:

- A genuine desire to support and empower students, particularly those with SEND.
- Previous experience in a similar setting (either in a classroom or care environment) is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with both students and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude, with a commitment to providing the best possible care and support.
- The ability to assist with personal care duties when needed, always ensuring students’ dignity and comfort.
- A positive, flexible approach and a passion for contributing to a nurturing and inclusive educational setting.

**Hours**:

- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
