We are currently working with a SEN school to source a SEN Teaching Assistant to work children in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

The school are looking for a passionate and creative SEN Teaching Assistant who has experience working with those with Moderate Learning Difficulties such as Autism, ADHD and other learning difficulties. This role will require patience, resilience and proactivenature to support these pupils.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will:

- Provide in class support to keep pupils on task
- Support movement around the school during breaks and lessons transitions
- Provide a positive role model for pupils
- Support incidents of challenging behaviour through providing support or a safe space to return to clam

This SEN Teaching Assistant role would be well suited those with experience of working with additional needs from either a school, care or personal environment. The role would also be well suited to graduates with a relevant degree such as Psychology, Healthand Social or Nursing.

You additionally will either have a DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to get one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
