We are actively recruiting a reliable, organised, energetic Trainee Care Coordinator with a keen eye for detail for our office in Harrogate. You will have a wealth of experience of delivering in-home care and demonstrate excellent organisational and IT skills. This role will require a great deal of flexibility and you will need to have strong communication skills and be tactful and adaptable in all situations.

**Main duties and responsibilities**:

- Undertake care calls as part of your contracted hours
- Participate in the out of hours On Call rota to support the Care Assistants working in the community.
- To produce consistent, fortnightly rosters and provide Care Assistant and Clients with rotas in a timely manner.
- To answer the telephone promptly and professionally, dealing with any enquiries or queries
- Ensure any changes to Client or Care Assistant needs and availability is communicated to all relevant parties quickly and effectively.
- To record all new Care Assistants and Clients on the system as soon as they are received.
- Accurately monitor and record Care Assistant holiday, sickness and absences.
- To undertake light social media and community engagement duties

**Requirements of our Care Coordinators**
- Previous experience of working in homecare
- Must have driving licence, own car and business insurance
- Use of a scheduling / HR / recording system - desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook/ Teams
- Experience in customer facing roles
