**Associate - Real Estate Disputes 3-5y+PQE**

**Responsibilities**:

- Handle a diverse range of real estate disputes across various areas.
- Manage landlord and tenant asset management matters, including lease renewals (contested and uncontested), rent reviews, dilapidation claims, and forfeiture and possession actions.
- Participate in complex litigation, arbitrations, and mediations as part of a larger team, with a focus on high-value cases.
- Specialize in building safety matters, rights of light, telecoms, and joint venture disputes within the London team.
- Advise clients on risk mitigation strategies, with an increasing emphasis on crisis management.
- Take ownership of business development initiatives, including direct engagement with clients at networking events and providing training sessions.

**Responsibilities**:
Our specialist advice and guidance covers the full range of corporate matters, including:

- Company formations, Directors’ & shareholders’ rights and liabilities
- Family business issues, Succession issues
- Mergers and acquisitions, Private equity
- Joint ventures & partnerships, Restructuring
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, Trading arrangements
- Financing, including tax incentives for investors or business owners such as Business Entrepreneur’s Relief and relevant enterprise investment schemes
- Managing IP from creation to protection and exploitation
- Copyright, trademarks, designs and securing confidential information
- Franchising, licensing, agency, distribution and collaboration agreements
- Manufacturing agreements and standard terms and conditions of business
- Confidentiality, non-disclosure, joint venture and cooperation agreements.

- Experienced in client-facing roles, capable of directly handling client instructions and delegating routine tasks while managing less routine matters independently.
- Possess enthusiasm, resilience, and ambition to deliver top-quality work and leverage available opportunities for personal improvement.
- Demonstrable academic achievements or relevant experience/interests required.
