Generic Physiotherapy

The opportunity has arisen for a Therapy Assistant at Band 4 level to work as part of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Teams. This post will support the delivery of occupational and physiotherapy within the Discharge to Recover and Assess team at Ysbyty Gwynedd.

The post may involve 7 day working.

As a therapy assistant, the post holder will be responsible for providing clinical support to the qualified Therapists within the hospital Discharge to Recover and Assess team.

Working under the supervision of the Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy staff the post holder will undertake assessment and intervention with patients, within a protocol, and support home first activity preventing admission or accelerating discharge back to the community.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
