The role of the **Internal Sales Consultant** is to work as an effective member of the sales team to achieve their own sales targets and support overall company business objectives.
- Be proactive and motivated, with experience in a direct sales role
- Ideally have experience in the Timber industry
- Demonstrate excellent PC skills and good attention to detail
- Demonstrate good communication skills, both written and spoken
- Be confident answering phones and dealing with customer queries
- Be comfortable working on own your initiative as you progress within the company
- Be self-motivating and able to work as part of a team
- Be prepared to be mobile to meet training requirements
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn
**What will I be doing in the role?**
Our Internal Sales Consultant will be an important contributor to the performance of the business and to ensure our customers have a positive experience with us. The role will look to develop a good understanding of the business products, customers, policies, and procedures.
- Achieve sales and margin targets
- Support the achievement of the internal and external sales and margin targets
- Complete any customer requests in an accurate and timely manner
- Maintaining accurate and current information in the brand's CRM system
- Effectively communicate with our customer base
- Support the manager to achieve team objectives, such as sales campaigns
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous professional development
