Specials Administration Assistant

As a Specials Administration Assistant, you’ll play an incredibly important role in the Specials Management process. Working closely with your Manager, you’ll make sure that they have everything they need to provide accurate data and reporting to the business. This will involve running reports, analysing data and working with Buying teams to ensure all the right information is presented to the business.
On a weekly basis you will be keeping up communication with people across Buying and Specials Management and making sure that every process is managed effectively, from ensuring we have great working relationships with our teams, to crunching the numbers and putting forward proposals, you’ll get involved in several key aspects of the Specials Management Process.
In this role you’ll need to be well organised, comfortable with numbers and a good communicator. You will have an eye for detail and the ability to analyse statistics effectively. In return, you’ll enjoy the chance to put forward your ideas and influence our Buying process.
**Your New Role**
- Provide professional administrative support to the wider Specials Management Team
- Aid the Specials Manager with existing and future Specials reporting and admin tasks
- Actioning bulletins within both CBIS and SAP systems
- Displays a strong sense of teamwork and partners with others to complete tasks where required
- Ensures that a polite and professional manner is maintained in all internal/ external communications
- Responsibility for managing the Specials Management inbox
**About You**
**Essential**:
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Strong skill levels with Excel and PowerPoint
- Dynamic, diligent, consistent, good attention to detail, competent and responsible
**Desirable**:
- Previous analytical work
- Experience managing shared inboxes
**What you’ll get in return**
- Salary starting at £25,755 rising to £31,675
- Fixed Term Contract until 1st July 2026
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with the opportunity of 2 day a week remote working
