Cherry Professional are working with an industry leading business who are looking to recruit for a **Purchase Ledger** Assistant on a full time, permanent basis.
As well as strong team working skills; proactive, enthusiastic and have a great attention to detail.Prior experience of working in a fast-paced environment, dealing with a high volume of transactions within both purchase ledger and credit control, in an SME environment,is desirable.
The role and responsibilities:
Match invoices, where there is a PO, to the PO and GRN
Check and reconcile supplier statements
Deal with any purchase ledger enquiries (both internal and external)
Code, check and register invoices
Obtain approval for invoices in line with approval limits
Deal with any sales ledger enquiries (both internal and external)
Provide copy documents to customers as requested (e.g. copy invoices/PODs)
Contact customers regarding payments
Ensure that all activities are carried out as required by the credit controllers
