**Working Hours**: We’re offering a 35-hour working week with shifts from Monday to Friday, between 8am and 6pm. There is no weekend work and, after completing probation, you can work from home up to 80% of the time with our hybrid model.

**Start Date**: We’re aiming for a start date of 21st October, with earlier or later start dates considered on a case-by-case basis.

**About the role**:
Here’s an exciting chance to enter the insurance industry with a dynamic and varied role where no two days are the same You'll be the go-to person helping customers navigate the ins and outs of motor claims, ensuring they get the support they need during tough times.

You’ll get a solid understanding of the insurance market, the types of claims you’ll handle, and how to manage them from start to finish. As a Claims Handler in our Motor Claims team, your day will involve answering customer calls, handling their requests, and managing your own portfolio of claims. You’ll work with a range of parties, including approved repairers, loss adjusters, and solicitors, as well as liaise with internal teams like Personal Injury, Third Party, Credit Hire and Engineering. Plus, you’ll collaborate with our network of agencies to ensure seamless customer interactions.

**Recruitment process**: Our recruitment process consists of a couple of simple steps: a friendly introduction call with a member of our Resourcing team and a 2-hour, skills-focused assessment centre at our York office. Assessment centres will be held during weeks commencing 2nd and 9th September, with some sessions available in the evenings for your convenience.

Whilst any prior experience in general insurance is a bonus, it’s not essential for this role and we will provide you with all the knowledge and tools you’ll need to succeed in the role.
