**SEN Teaching Assistant - Perfect for aspiring therapists - ASAP Start - Enfield**

A fantastic SEN Secondary School in the London Borough of Enfield are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team for an ASAP Start. This role is full time and long term with the view to remain in the same school until the end of the academic year.

Clarus Education are seeking aspirational, hard-working graduates with a genuine passion and interest in SEN & Child Development. We are looking for people that want a full years’ experience minimum and will commit themselves to the position.

This role is a perfect opportunity for graduates who have an interest in the following fields:

- Counselling
- Teaching - Mainstream and SEN Schools
- Play Therapy / Music Therapy / Art Therapy
- Clinical Psychology

As a Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working in an Autism Specific Provision where you will be supporting pupils with SEN from the ages of 11-19 years old. The School are renowned for their holistic environment and person-centred curriculum, which is equipped with state of the art facilities such as a rebound therapy room, sensory integration room and creative art rooms.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- SEN Teaching Assistant
- SEN Secondary School
- Working with a variety SEN including: Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia & GDD
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis
- Full Time & Long Term (full academic year)
- ASAP Start
- £85 - £100 per day ( + Excellent healthcare package)
- Located in the London Borough of Enfield

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**
- **Good academics**
- Must have childcare experience
- SEN experience is desirable - voluntary or paid
- Must possess an interest in SEN, Child Development or Teaching
- Must be willing to go above and beyond
- Basic understanding of SEN is essential
- Compassionate and confident personality
