My client is a production company looking for a Payroll & Expenses Manager on a permanent basis. Overseeing a rapidly growing payroll will be working on processing and paying a high volume payroll.
Working as the Payroll & Expenses Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of different payrolls all with differing frequencies totalling 4000 employees alongside managing a team of up to 6 Payrollers
- Background in Payroll, Benefits management and HMRC regulations
- Excellent understanding of company benefits including pensions, car allowances, company cars, salary sacrifice arrangements
- Ability to support and direct internal expenses procedures in a UK and international capacity
- Responsibility for company fleet
- Ensure delivery against SLA's in line with KPI's
- Strategy & Vision
- Contribute and support the Head of Payroll, Fleet and Expenses with the development of operational/strategic plans
- Bring the department vision to life for direct reports
- People Leadership
- Set objectives
- 1:1's, team meetings
- Co-ordinate the work
- Process Improvement
- Improvements to systems, structures, procedures and practises
- Drive team to create opportunities for process Improvement and change management
- Implement any changes to structures, procedures and practises

Essential Requirements
- Evidence of leading and developing a team
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills
- Previous Shared Service Centre experience desirable
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Substantial experience in both Payroll and benefits
- Experience of Fleet management
- Experience of international payrolls
- Working knowledge of SAP payroll
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Strong focus on control, reconciliation, performance management and improvement
- Must be CIPP qualified (to diploma level or beyond)
- Very strong attention to detail
