The Finance Change Team leads the charge in shaping the future of finance at Computershare. We manage and deliver high-impact change initiatives, whether driven by regulatory demands or strategic goals set by the Finance Leadership Team. From optimizing processes and enhancing workflows to integrating systems and supporting transitions during acquisitions or demergers, we ensure Finance is always ready for what’s next.
**A role you will love**
The Control and Results Lead will take the reins in building a brand-new team from the ground up, working in close partnership with the Finance Programme Director, PMO, Head of Change, and Head of Finance Systems and Data. This is a high-impact role focused on shaping the future of performance measurement and control across global Finance operations. At the core of this role is the design, implementation, and ongoing management of a global Objectives and Key Results (OKR) framework—a powerful tool to align Finance functions with strategic goals. Acting as the central point of engagement, the Control and Results Lead will monitor performance across both business-as-usual and change initiatives, ensuring alignment with the broader Finance strategy.
Beyond performance tracking, this role will assess how change impacts the Finance control environment, helping to safeguard integrity and compliance while supporting transformation.
Bringing strong thought leadership and a forward-looking perspective, the Control and Results Lead will champion best-in-class Finance practices, harness emerging technologies, and drive initiatives around simplification, end-to-end process improvement, automation, and innovation—unlocking real value across every corner of the Finance function.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the Objectives and Key results (OKR) framework across Finance
- Lead the alignment of investment objectives with broader company goals
- Establish methodology for tracking progress and ensuring accountability for achieving key results at all levels within finance
- Establish a process of controlling costs across Finance investment spend, working with the finance PMO lead
- Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to track key financial metrics and performance indicators.
- Establish methodology to track the impact of investments on the control environment across finance.
- Lead the establishment of self-serve reporting on the effectiveness of investments in enhancing financial controls
- Lead data-driven prioritization and performance discussions, to enhance business change outcomes, including supporting future acquisitions transactions and ensuring Finance business units understand the financial and commercial benefit
**What will you bring to the role?**
**Essential**
- Strong experience in a managerial role in business management, finance or change team in a Corporate and Finance environment
- Hands-on experience with the OKR framework, including setting, tracking, and achieving objectives and key results
- Experience in working in agile environments and multi-disciplinary teams
**Desirable**
- Accredited PMP/PMI/Prince2/PMBOK or equivalent certification
- Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks and risk management.
