**Supervisor - Fire Stopping**

**Manchester**

**£30,000 - £40,000 + Company Package**

TS Recruitment are working with a Leading Social Housing Contractor based in the North West who are now actively hiring a Supervisor from a passive fire / fire stopping background.
- Supervise fire stopping engineers across various projects, ensuring contracts are completed to program, defect-free, within budget, and adhering to Health & Safety standards.
- Organize workloads for projects and engineers, coordinating with office, engineers, and sub-contractors for seamless project execution.
- Client-facing role with extensive knowledge of passive fire protection and dry lining work.
- Self-starter with the ability to generate work.

Key Responsibilities (Detailed):

- Produce estimates for various Passive Fire solutions.
- Generate accurate quotations for clients and assist in presenting the contract brief.
- Agree budgets and timescales with clients.
- Attend site meetings to monitor progress.
- Liaise with site engineers and clients to ensure compliance with external accreditation requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, CDM Regulations, COSHH regulations, and Health and Safety at Works Regulations.
- Generate and issue reports via the live reporting system (BORIS).
- Manage the selection and formation of site personnel teams, including sub-contractors.
- Control individual contract progress towards completion and manage contract budgets.
- Ensure accurate and timely production of all necessary contract documentation/reports.
- Ensure all relevant certificates are in place and compliance is up to date.

Key Skills:

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role and sector.
- Strong knowledge of Fire stopping and FIRAS.
- Relevant qualifications in FIRAS.
- Current SMSTS or associated NVQ.
- Ideally, experience in Passive Fire Protection Contracts
- Enthusiastic self-starter with confident communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office.
- Flexible in hours of work and travel.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
