As a Product Owner for Third Party Data within Sky Data you will be responsible for the support and analysis of Third Party Data products, with opportunities to add value throughout the full product cycle.

Third Party Data underpins critical insights, reporting, analysis and campaign strategy across the organisation so you will be a senior member of the team that helps to source this data and continuously improve the product offering.

Core to the role, you will act as data steward on projects involving Third Party datasets, collaborating across Sky Data and business teams, managing data usage and governance queries and championing the value proposition. You will support the delivery of the strategic roadmap and also support the business with ad-hoc enquiries, providing advice, education and training, which presents a great opportunity to work closely with multiple business teams, understanding and supporting their end-to-end requirements.

What you’ll do
- Support the Lead Product Owner to deliver and continuously improve the Product offering for Third Party Data.
- Champion Agile ways of working and help to embed them in the team.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement and greater efficiency in process and ways of working
- Identify, source and license compliant, good quality third party data that is aligned to the needs of the business.
- Build and secure strong relationships with external data suppliers
- Build and leverage a strong stakeholder network within Sky
- Educate and train internal stakeholders on the Third Party Data available with a focus on its business value and permitted use.

What you’ll bring
- Excellent communication skills for a variety of audiences
- A continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to manage your workload across several projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Ability to build and present a compelling and engaging case for investment and/or improvement.
- Experience in negotiating and licensing contracts.
- Experience of working in an Agile environment
- Knowledge of the UK third party data market and data privacy would be beneficial.
- A bonus if you have experience with using Google Cloud Platforms and Tableau, but training can be provided.
