Media Sales Executive

Our client, an international research, event, and media organisation, are seeking a Media Sales Executive to join their fun and sociable team. The Media Sales Executive will be responsible for developing new business opportunities to drive forward the media,survey and non-event activities that they have to offer.
This will be a hybrid role where you will need to be in the office 3 days a week and 2 days remote. There is an excellent commission structure available on top of basic salary.
As a Media Sales Executive, your key Roles and Responsibilities will be:
- Identify and prospect sales leads
- Successful track record of closing business over the phone, and in-person
- Establish and maintain constructive and commercially viable relationships with all stakeholders, and to grasp opportunities as they arise
- Effective reporting of leads, prospects, pipeline and revenue
Key experience for the Media Sales Executive
- A natural understanding of the commercial benefits of media, advertising and surveys/reports
- A firm grasp of the principles of selling
- The ability to spot and respond to sponsorship opportunities
- A hunger for winning new business, with the ability to develop existing clients
- A consultation approach to selling
- The intelligence to understand the business issues of your customers
- Effective communication skills and the ability to interact with very senior figures
- Sales planning, organizational and accurate forecasting skills
- A good healthy balance of personal drive and team outlook
