The Company
This is a Permanent Social Media Executive Position paying £21-24k per annum (depending on experience)
We're a remote first company and as such, this is mainly a remote role - however we do need someone who can get to our office in Ware, Hertford on occasion - 2/3x a month.
The Role:
We're looking for a Social Media Executive who is a creative thinker who gets a kick out of creating impactful, scaleable and measurable Social Media strategies and high levels of engagement for us and our digital clients
A main part of the role will be to create written content that engages customers from a wide range of different businesses that our clients operate in.
You will also be responsible for scheduling these posts and working with our design team to execute daily/weekly posts for the client in advance.
We are looking for a great communicator and someone who can honestly and openly excite our clients and our team.
As part of your role, we will ask you to conduct competitor or industry research for new and existing clients, in addition to interacting with our clients/internally on a regular basis to present your findings.
We would also welcome a strong interest in influencer content planning and delivery. With a key responsibility of managing paid advertising for our clients and internal campaigns.
At the end of each month you will be responsible for gathering data to compile for our internal/client Social Media monthly reports. You will have a particular focus on key areas such as performance, including analysis and recommendations.

You will join a team of around 14 staff who come together and work hard to deliver the best-in-class websites for our clients, with great content and user focused design. We are looking for someone who’s forward-thinking, open-minded and a team player in orderto compliment our core service and deliver great digital results.
Day to day responsibilities of the role include:
- Create and implement targeted social media strategies on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Able to produce excellent Social Media written content that engages B2B/B2C clients
- Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice and terminology
- An interest in design software such as Canva or Adobe softwares
- Schedule content in advance across all platforms using relevant scheduling tools
- Engage daily and monitor all social media platforms
- Comfortable in researching key areas such as: competitors, industries or general Social Media trends
- An interest in influencer content planning and delivery
- Monthly reporting on Social Media performance, including analysis and recommendations.
- Day-to-day liaison with clients is handled by our Client Success Manager or Project Managers but being comfortable speaking to clients when needed would be helpful
- Tracking your daily activities accurately on time-management software, and working within specific timeframes for each client.
- Educated to graduate level - ideally a 2.1 degree from a Russel Group (or similar)
- Proven track record in Social Media
- A passion for multiple Social Media channels and trends
- Sociable, highly organised with excellent time management skills
- A team player who is willing to help their colleagues when required
- Confident when interacting with new and existing clients on a regular basis
- A creative thinker and able to come up with their own ideas
- Good attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Knowledge of Paid Social Advertising (Facebook / Instagram / Linkedin)
- PPC & remarketing (Google/Bing)
- Basic understanding of Wordpress is preferred for this role (but can be taught)
